QUALIFICATIONS

WYG Türkiye is looking for an Accounting Specialist-CPA (SMMM) to be in Ankara Head Office. The necessary qualifications are as follows:

• Bachelor’s or/and master’s degree on a related field of Finance and/or Accounting,
• Certified Public Accountant/TR (CPA) License is a must,
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting,
• Extensive Financial Reporting and Accounting Knowledge,
• IAS and IFRS knowledge will be an asset,
• Having extensive experience on 'Zirve' accounting software,
• Advanced level of English Language skills,
• Understanding relevant compliance processes,
• Excellent Time Management skills and ability to work within tight deadlines.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Asist the monthly accounting close process to ensure all transactions are completed timely, accurately and according to the required standards,
• Prepare accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations,
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and all journal entries are completed in a timely manner,
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information,
• Establish and monitor proper accounting methods and policies,
• Improve accounting systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions where needed,
• Provide support by working with all departments in the company and help others to make financial decisions,
• Manage and monitor the close process ensuring quality financial statements and reports are delivered on time and in full,
• Supervise others who perform accounting functions, including preparation of schedules for the month end / quarter end reporting package of statutory accounts, and provide them with appropriate level of review, feedback and support,
• Support Annual and Quarterly audit processes.
